The return of the gray wolf to the American West is in incredible story of what we can do to restore our natural world. However, bad management threatens to undue this remarkable effort. As many as 300 wolves will be killed by hunters this fall, with dozens more killed by wildlife agents for preying on livestock.
Now, it is more important than ever to spread the word about the benefits of having wolves back in the wild, and the contribution wolves and other wildlife make to the northern Rockies. The future of wolves in Greater Yellowstone and the northern Rockies is at a crossroads -- and it will take the voices of caring wildlife supporters like you to make a difference.
Speak out in support of wolves!
The reintroduction of the gray wolf to the northern Rockies is on its way to becoming one of the great Endangered Species Act success stories. But aggressive state management could threaten to turn back the clock on wolf recovery and risk endangering wolf populations.
We need to adopt responsible, science-based wolf management strategies. We should manage wolves like other wildlife, such as mountain lions and bears, instead of treating them like pests and actively reducing their numbers to minimum levels. Humans and wolves have coexisted for hundreds of years, and we should be able to continue to live with them.

Thanks....I was so happy to see when FireOokami had the room open. I nearly fell out of my chair. I thought everyone was gone. ^.^ Then asked him if he remembered any one by the name of "LunaShdwTiger" =) Glad he did. And glad he sent me the site!
